Free Backpacks

A Precious Child is once again donating backpacks for the upcoming school year!

If your child is in need of a new backpack and supplies, send an email to Allison.varvaro@thelinkcolorado.org with your name and phone number as well as your child's: name, age, grade, gender and school.  We will contact you in the beginning of August when backpacks are available to be picked up from The Link.

  • Prevention and Early Intervention Programs-Provide individualized strengths based assessment to determine primary issues and recommend most appropriate service.  The goal is to prevent entry or further penetration into the criminal justice or human services systems. 

  • Information Sharing-The Link has information sharing agreements with community partners to provide information on youth of mutual concern to provide youth access to services, identify gaps in services and reduce duplication of services.

  • Collaboration and Coordination of Services-The Link partners in numerous
    county-wide collaborations intended to promote better access to services, identify gaps in service and assist in planning to meet those needs.  This allows for a continuum of care for youth and their families
